Murun

Murun

The Murun complex comprises three major intrusions (Fig. 2_221) namely Bolshemurunskii (locality 136-01-002), Malomurunskii (locality 136-01-003) and Dogaldynskii (locality 136-01-004). Malomurunskii, which alone is commonly referred to as Murun, is the largest of the three and by far the most important because of the wide range of rock types, including ultra-potassic varieties containing kalsilite, many of which are layered.
