Emplaced into Archaean greenstones and granites which are strongly sheared near to the contacts, the intrusion is about 8x3 km and consists of nepheline syenites of variable colour index. Alkali feldspars form aligned tablets; there is abundant nepheline, cancrinite and biotite, variable pyroxene and coarse white calcite is widespread. Lenses of carbonate with biotite and pyrite occur in the schists close to the syenite. Neither mapped nor described in detail.
