Agoro is an intrusion of eudialyte phonolite lying close to the border with Sudan (P. Nixon, pers.comm., 1990) No other details have been traced.

Age: 
“preliminary and tentative” K-Ar ages of the Agoro phonolite and a related intrusion of 424 and 336 Ma are given in a footnote in Nixon and Clark (1967).
