Jebel Lado lies between the Masakin Hills (No. 155-00-085) and Jebel Buram (No. 155-00-087) and is a group of hills composed dominantly of syenite. Peralkaline quartz syenites are present and two of the hills are of volcanic rocks. (Note also the intrusion of nepheline syenite with the same name - No. 155-00-096).
