This is a sub-volcanic igneous complex of basaltic rocks, syenite and gabbro. Chemical data indicate the presence of an alkaline series including basanite, tephrite, phonotephrite and trachyte (Franz et al., 1994). Further details have not been found.
Age:
K-Ar determinations on biotite from gabbro and syenite and plagioclase from trachybasalt ranged from 25.5 to36.2 Ma (Franz et al., 1994).
