Khulal is a deeply eroded ring-complex 7 km in diameter with a 2 km wide core syenite having a chilled margin. The core is surrounded by a swarm of trachyte and microsyenite porphyry ring-dykes. There is then a concentric sand-covered plain before an outer large ring-dyke of amphibole microgranite is reached.
