Kuron (1978) identified a separate ring complex immediately south of El Kuk (No. 155-00-019) containing dunite, gabbros, syenite, carbonatite dykes and what was considered to be quartz syenitic fenite. However, exposure is poor and little time was available for the work and Vail (1988) suggests that it may not be a ring complex but could be part of the dismembered Nakasib Ophiolite Suite.
