A very small body of nepheline syenite has been mapped on the extreme southerly edge of the Nyika South sheet (Thatcher, 1974). It occurs along the faulted eastern margin of the Njakwa granite, the name of which has been adopted for the present account. It is apparently petrographically similar to the Telelele Hill (No. 103-00-005) sodalite-nepheline syenite.
