The Kajyamamuk volcano straddles the western margin of the rift and is obscured by rocks of the Oliyamur volcano (No. 085-00-021) to the west and basalts from Emuruangogolak (No. 085-00-022) and rift valley alluvium to the east. Basal trachyte lavas are overlain by mugearites and these in turn by pumice tuffs
