Pantellerite occurs 6 km east of Jimma along the road to Addis Ababa. It contains phenocrysts of anorthoclase and aenigmatite in a groundmass of quartz, which with feldspar forms spherulitic structures, riebeckite and aegirine. An analysis is given by Pagliani (1940).
