This intrusion, covering approximately 3 km2, cuts Upper Proterozoic dolomitic marbles and Lower Palaeozoic gabbro-diorites and granites. The massif includes nepheline syenites containing xenoliths of country rock gabbro-diorites and dolomitic marble.

Age:
K-Ar on K-feldspar gave 244±10 Ma, on biotite 226±9 Ma and on nepheline 232±9 Ma (Yashina and Borisevich, 1966). Pb from zircon gave 400±40 Ma (Zykov et al., 1961).
