This small stock of only 0.2 km2 cuts lower Palaeozoic gabbro-diorites. The rocks belong to two intrusive phases the younger of which consists of amphibole syenites, the older of aegirine-riebeckite granites. The rocks are intensively altered by post-magmatic processes, involving the development of microcline and albite, which are associated with various minerals enriched in Zr and Ta-Nb as well as fluorite, cryolite and bastnaesite.
