This volcano takes the form of an almost symmetrical cone about 190 m high which is composed of lavas similar in composition to those of peripheral lava flows. Explosive products are only found adjacent to the edge of the crater. The lava flows cover an area of 12 km2. Chemically the lavas are the lowest in silica and most alkaline (SiO2 46%; Na2O + K2O 5.5-8%) of all the Quaternary lavas in the Omolon province.

Age:
Upper Pleistocene.
