Vysokoi lies west of Kuropatochei and has been emplaced in similar leucocratic granites within the same Devonian granite batholith. The intrusion extends over about 4 km2 and has a zonal structure grading from syenites in the centre through syenite porphyries to trachytes. Quartz syenites are present in the western contact zone. The syenites consist of orthoclase, andesine, augitic pyroxene, hornblende, biotite, titanite, titanomagnetite and apatite, sometimes with grains of marialite and analcime; there is rare zircon and fluorite. A dyke series comprises quartz porphyries and mica lamprophyres.
