Located on the watershed of the Sarikolsky Ridge the Dunkeldykskii massif is elliptical in outline and 2.5x1 km. It has vertical contacts and over 300 m can be seen in vertical exposure. The intrusion is zonal with in the centre pseudoleucite rocks including syenite, borolanite, fergusite and fergusite porphyry. The outer part comprises alkaline syenites and porphyries. All the rocks of the intrusion are cut by dykes, including multiple types, and bodies of granosyenite porphyry, the greatest concentrations being in the southwestern and central parts. There are abundant xenoliths of country rocks throughout.

K-Ar on K-feldspar gave 14-16 Ma.
