This complex is developed within the Vedi-Azat volcanic formation. It consists exclusively of volcanic and subvolcanic intrusions including sills, dykes, laccoliths and small stocks, amongst which, in a central position, are a number of volcanic necks that are circular in section and up to 1 km2. The rocks of the suite comprise a series from alkali olivine basalts through trachyte and trachyandesite to leucite syenite porphyry and leucite phonolite.

Economic:
Rare earth, copper, molybdenum and mercury mineralization is associated with the complex.
Age:
K-Ar determinations on rocks gave 12 Ma (Aslanyan, 1958).
