A small domed (?)sill is seen to intrude sandstones of the Sundance Formation over some 220 m in the bottom of the Barlow Canyon; the lower contact is not exposed. The rock contains phenocrysts of alkali feldspar, aegirine or aegirine-augite and biotite, in a somewhat altered groundmass of feldspar, pyroxene, a brown isotropic substance and accessories including analcime.
