Porozhninskii consists of five small syenitic massifs of from 0.5 to 5 km2. They are surrounded by trachybasalts, andesites and rhyolites. Peralkaline and mildly alkaline syenites are dominant and occupy the central parts of the intrusions. They consist of microcline perthite, orthoclase, riebeckite, albite-oligoclase, aegirine, hastingsite, arfvedsonite, biotite and Fe-Ti oxides. From the centres to the outer contacts the peralkaline syenites grade into mildly alkaline granites and granosyenites.

Age:
Lower Devonian.
