Situated on the left bank of the Isfairamsaya River 1 km below the confluence with the Vostochnii Kichikalay River, Chekindy is compositionally and structurally similar to the Sokhskii (No. 20) intrusion. The first phase comprises monzonites and melanocratic syenites with garnet and diopside-augite. The second, and last, phase consists of nepheline syenites with sodalite and hauyne pegmatites up to 2 metres thick and up to several kilometres in length.
