An intrusion of essexite containing syenite veins and emplaced in Jurassic sandstones (J.H. Palmieri, personal communication, 1981), but described on a map of Mariano and Druecker (personal communication, 1985) as 'fenitized shonkinite' and with a radial swarm of lamprophyre dykes.

Age: 
K-Ar on biotite from shonkinite gave 117±4 Ma (Mariano and Druecker, personal communication, 1985).
